The challenge was to create an accessible brand story for an investment company in the crypto world
B1 (old Block.one) is a leader in the fintech industry investment, developing various innovative project in tech and blockchain (B1 is the mother brand of EOSIO, Bullish...) The goal was to make the corporate brand accessible to everyone and fresh. The business vision is to empower people and projects that has a positive impact on the world.
The process in this re-branding was key by proposing various concepts and art directions. Building a strong storytelling was made possible by making workshops and brainstorming sessions with the key people in the company. Research and explorations were absolutely crucial to find the right design direction that fits the CEO vision.
The chosen art direction focus on the vision of unity (B1 - Be One - All together). The key art was commissioned by the genius Geoff McFetridge. The logo is round and accessible, each piece represent architecture and something that we build piece by piece. The main typography Gellix is round but with personality.
